Today's Planned Workout (W.O.D.)
I'll preface this post by saying that yesterday's workout ended up being a little longer and probably a little more intense than I anticipated. I typically try to get my weights workout done in an hour, and to fit in what I posted meant that I had to really push the pace. I did it all, but had to switch around the order a bit. As far as the cardio, I hammered through 66 minutes on the stairmill at an average level of about 13.5. That's always a solid workout. Immediately after that I got on a treadmill and ran pretty solidly (~2.4km) for 10 minutes on the treadmill at a bit of an incline. I like the feeling as it somewhat emulates the feeling of running off the bike, or running on tired legs.
TODAY'S workout is going to be only cycling on the trainer. I've ALWAYS loved the trainer. Going to pop in a DVD we got from my brother in law, Alex and go for about 1:15 - 1:30. We'll see how much time I have this morning. Everywhere I've lived over the past 5 years I've had my trainer... Stittsville, a couple places in Ottawa, Huntsville and Wollongong. That thing has served me well!!!
